Dreamcatchers originated with the Ojibwe people and were later adopted by some neighboring nations through intermarriage and trade.
Length: 43-46 cm
Traditionally, the Ojibwe construct dreamcatchers by tying sinew strands in a web around a small round or tear-shaped frame of willow (in a way roughly similar to their method for making snowshoe webbing). The resulting "dream-catcher", hung above the bed, is used as a charm to protect sleeping people, usually children, from nightmares.
The Ojibwe believe that a dreamcatcher changes a person's dreams.
Only good dreams would be allowed to filter through... Bad dreams would stay in the net, disappearing with the light of day. Good dreams would pass through and slide down the feathers to the sleeper.
Small boho wooden loop dreamcatchers, in pink, green, blue and brown. They are quite light weighted, you can use them for your car and they have rope around them, as a design.
They can be used to decorate a car, it is mobile, hang it from the mirror, or as a wall decoration for your living room or a nursery room. They give you a bohemian, hippie vibe for summer, for a roadtrip for college girls and teens.
It is small about 43-46 cm.(from the beggining of the rope to the end of the feather) and 4 cm width.
I used beads in mostly brown colors and I could use white ones for you too.
You can request a bigger size dreamcatcher in these colors shown in the photos.
